We precisely diagnose your injury, relieve your pain, and get your body moving again. We create a clear pathway for recovery while eliminating underlying contributing factors and create a structured rehabilitation program for you to excel in your performance!

This is what we call our Pain to Performance model of care. This is an internationally recognized program that is cutting edge in its intent. While most physical therapy practices are content with just getting you out of pain, we at KSSPT feel this isn't good enough for our clients.

  • Bodybuilders

    • A sport of precision and detail, where the littlest muscle imbalance will throw off your Physique and make the difference of first call out or not at all. We are specialists in fixing the imbalances that come from years of training to look your best. Our soft tissue techniques will not only help you activate muscles better, but shape and create detail like nothing before. Let us help you build the physique you have always wanted. 

  • CrossFit

    • Forging elite fitness is hard work and can be hard on the body. Dr. Avakian always says that “Crossfit doesn’t hurt people, but it will expose your weakness and imbalances”. If you don’t work on those with a professional who understands your sport, injury will likely occur. We have been working with Crossfit athletes since 2010 and have fixed many athletes to help them move to Regionals and Games levels of competition. No one understands “elite fitness” better!

  • Combat Sports

    • Whether it is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai or Krav Maga we have worked on recreational to professional level fighters to keep them top notch on the mat, in the ring, cage or street. The art of defense and offense is hard on the body and we can help keep you injury free as you train. Don’t let the wear and tear of your sport end your career or training unnecessarily. We can keep you kicking, punching, throwing and rolling better than anyone in the valley because we have helped more fighters stay in the match then anyone in the area.   


  • Weightlifters

    • Shoulders, knees and lower back are the weak links in this sport. Don’t let poor ankle, wrist or shoulder mobility keep you from your best lifts. We have helped many a lifter better their PR by removing these barriers to their training. If your having problems in your Snatch due to poor shoulder mobility, stability or ankle mobility then we can help. Of your clean causes pain in the front of your shoulder in the rack position or in your overhead position. There is a simple fix for this huge problem that is limiting your lifts. 

  • Powerlifters

    • Squat, bench and deadlift, seem simple enough? Well not if your posterior chain doesn’t work! Lower back “tweaks” in the deadlift and squat can cause “glute amnesia” and ruin your power and totals. Bad shoulder, especially the acromioclavicular joint (pain in the front of the shoulder) and you won’t bench your body weight without pain, much less win your next meet. Let us help boost your totals by removing those obstacles.   

  • Runners

    • You might be a marathoner or ultramarathoner, but the stats are against you either way. You have a 19-92% chance of injury if you don’t work with the right professionals to remove the movement and strength imbalances. We have worked with many an athlete to keep them on the road and trails healthy and injury free, let us help you NOT be another statistic. 

  • Triathletes

    • If your body doesn’t help you, your body won't be on the path to Kona. Triathletes push the envelope of human performance with the grueling test of the swim, bike, and run. We can help you perform at your best, but mobility, strength and endurance are prerequisites to finishing the race. Let us use our knowledge of movement and strength ensure you make it to the big race! 


  • Gymnastics

    • For 10 years Dr. Avakian worked with some of the top gymnasts in Washington state to keep them healthy, strong and competing. Whether it was floor, the beam, bars or tramp we understand your skills and movements best to help keep injuries from occurring and reoccurring in your sport. If you’re a level 1 or a level 10 we have the knowledge and training to keep you competing and progressing all the way to the top!  


  • Golf

    • Whether it is the PGA or the LPGA we have worked with the best to keep them in the fairway and out of the bunkers. Shoulder pain, lower back pain and movement imbalances are the plagues of this sport and we have helped many to be able to play safely and pain-free at the top of their game.
